A New Year Message from the Mayor:
My Dear Neighbors & Friends:
A fresh New Year is once again upon us. It is a time to be thankful for the blessings of the past year and take a look at all that we have achieved. It is a time to celebrate past accomplishments and look forward to future success.
2017 is a brand New Year to start new, start strong and it gives us a chance to do everything we want to do this year that we did not do last year.
Let us leave behind the old chapters that are filled with pages of worries and begin this New Year with happiness, hope, cheer and smiles.
May we never forget those who will not be with us in the New Year. They do not go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard but always near, still loved, and still missed very dear.
Let us make 2017 a year where we remember those who are less fortunate then we are, and lend a helping hand to them.
Let this New Year be a year where we look at the past and look to the future with a sense of pride to get started in making our mark on it, to make a difference.
Mehmet Murat ildan said “The New Year is a painting not yet painted; a path not yet stepped on; a wing not yet taken off! Things haven’t happened as yet! Before the clock strikes twelve, remember that you are blessed with the ability to reshape your life!”
May all of you enjoy a year filled with peace happiness and prosperity. New are the hopes and aspirations, new are the resolutions, new are the spirits and new is the year!
Here’s wishing that you be embraced with a glorious one and meet all your future endeavors with victory and triumph. May Peace, Love, Joy & Good Health be with you always.
From myself, my family, your Council members and their families Happy New Year and may all your wishes & dreams for the New Year come true.
Your Friend Tom Giordano
